Painting grounds me and allows me to express my feelings through line, shape, and color rather than words. This is an important part of who I am and how I take up space in the world. It is an emotional release to create work that connects with my spirit.
Every part of the process is exciting, from the initial marks I make to activate the canvas to the final layers of paint I put down. Every painting is a labor of love–love for the paint, the brushes, the canvas, and my studio. How lucky and grateful I am to be able to make unique and beautiful art that comes from pieces of my life.

Downtown Kennett Square is in full bloom this Spring!
