I paint pictures that reflect the light within me. Life is beautiful and fragile, filled with immense gratitude and deep sadness from recent loss. My paintings empower me to explore all these emotions and translate them into something joyful. I use my imagination and experiences to create bold, colorful work filled with expressive mark-making that allows images to emerge in a rhythmic and lyrical way.

My work will give you a glimpse of moments that capture my attention. Most of my time in the studio is disciplined and spent putting nonverbal emotions and expressions onto canvas. I work in a quiet space, often listening to music that grounds and inspires me to express myself completely. My painting is intuitive and influenced by my emotions, transforming feelings of darkness into light. Downtown Kennett Square is in full bloom this Spring! From the burst of colors seeping through the flower-filled planters nestled throughout town to the buzzing of shoppers visiting the unique shops and boutiques and dining on State Street, there is so much to do and see in Kennett Square.
